THANKS TO THE LEGISLATURE FOR THE STATE EMPLOYEE PAY RAISE. IT WAS LONG OVERDUE. OUR SON IS A DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY SUPERVISOR IN KINGMAN AND I KNOW HE AND HIS FAMILY APPRECIATE IT.

HOWEVER, FOR THOSE OF US THAT ARE RETIRED STATE EMPLOYEE'S, WE CONTINUE TO GET HURT BY THE STATE'S ADMINISTRATIVE HEALTH INSURANCE POLICY.

H 2621 RESULTED IN ANOTHER 97 RETIREES HAVING TO LEAVE THE ADOA INSURANCE PROGRAM IN JULY OF 2005,BECAUSE THEY ARE RURAL COUNTY RETIREE'S.

STARTING AT PAGE 49 OF THE WINTER 2005 EDITION OF THE 'ARIZONA HIGHWAY PATROLMAN', IS A SUMMARIZED HISTORICAL OVERVIEW OF THE STATE'S INSURANCE POLICY TO DATE. I WISH YOU WOULD PLEASE READ IT.
