I think it is ridiculous to make the statement that there is an employee shortage here. Carl Jr. in Havasu had mostly latinos, i went there in the evening when there were young people from New Horizons ( an organizatiion for mentally handicapped people trying to be self supporting) It is a great feeling to know that Americans that need jobs are not being pushed out by illegal aliens. the statements made that latinos are not paid as well is untrue from my experience. I know that construction workers were making what anglos were. The big thing I saw is the friction between latinos and anglos on the construction site because of the language barrier. The anglos were very angry at the non english speaking workers, it effects the workmanship. The translations were not always accurate and the undercurrent of statements against american workers was there causing problems. This bill is another joke by legislators that are not thinking about the consequences of these bills.
